Weekly Comprehensive Coaching

This is our most complete coaching option. With detailed, customized training plans that change as you change, feedback to technique, nutritional recommendations, attention to growing a solution-oriented mindset, and attempt selection and game day strategy for our competitors, we aim to cover it all.

Weekly coaching is TSA’s complete package.

 

While anyone can run a training approach built for them, true coaching revolves around nuanced problem-solving and relationship building. We pride ourselves on the variety of athletes we’ve been able to help—from beginners to podium finished on the world stage, injured athletes who can’t seem to get training right, busy working professionals with families and lives to lead, and everyone in between. It’s one thing to increase strength in the basic intermediate athlete who responds well to training, but it’s another thing entirely to figure out the perfect training protocol for athletes who might be further from the norm.

Weekly coaching includes everything we can apply to make the athlete better. We customize programming for the athlete in detail, planning in many cases a year ahead. We review lifting footage for technical adjustments on a weekly basis, adding mobility and warm-up work as needed to keep the athlete healthy and progressing. Finally, we address nutritional needs and challenges as they arise, utilizing flexible dieting approaches to increase adherence. For the athletes who need extra assistance, we have a dedicated physical therapist and sports psychologist on staff for services at discounted rates.

 

We work with athletes of all experience levels.


We
require only dedication, good communication, and a weekly report from athletes in either a vlog-style video or written email. We’ll answer all questions and make any necessary changes to the coming weeks of training. Together, this complete package exists to give athletes the best chance at progress either toward competition or simply to continue getting stronger. You will be paired with a coach based on your own training experience and our coach availability, and we look forward to working with you!

How does it work?

We always start off with a video conference call to get to know you better. We want to meet you and get to know your story. What are your goals? How did you start lifting? Do you have any competitions on the near horizon? While we work with athletes for the long term, we’re always sensitive to dates on the near horizon. What’s your schedule and how can we make this the best training approach you’ve ever run?

Once we chat and feel like we have a good grasp of a starting direction, we begin building your training from scratch and film you a video explaining why we set things up the way we did, after which we can launch into the journey ahead!
